Mobsta raises funding and forms strategic partnership with AD2ONE

Mobsta, the premium mobile sales business, has secured a funding and partnership deal with digital ad sales company AD2ONE.

AD2ONE has acquired a stake in Mobsta as part of the agreement and will be integrating the company’s expertise and technology platform across its publisher portfolio.

The deal sees Mobsta relocate to the AD2ONE London HQ where it will deliver a mobile service across a merged business publisher portfolio and build on its Premium Publisher representation. AD2ONE also has offices across Europe in Munich, Dublin and Amsterdam and in Asia-Pac where it has bases in Singapore, Hong-Kong, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.

Mobsta Ltd will continue to be headed by former Mobsta LLP partners, John Scorah and Darren Kietz, retains all existing staff and will bolster the team further over the next three months.

“There couldn’t have been a better outcome for the future of Mobsta than to find not only a partner investor but one that offers access to a global operation and top-class publisher portfolio. It was evident at an early stage that the two businesses are complementary and the management teams immediately agreed upon a vision for the future potential of this partnership”, said John Scorah, co-founder of Mobsta.

The news follows the recent launch by Mobsta of a unique geo-targeting solution across EMEA powered by YOOSE that dynamically serves location specific data rendered in real-time from a single ad build.
