150-WORD BOOK REVIEW – Raspberry Pi For Dummies by Sean McManus

9781118554227.pdfAt Christmas I bought a Raspberry Pi for my nine-year-old son and thought it would be a great bonding and coding experience that we could learn together.

Unfortunately, I had no idea about how it all worked and was aghast that I needed to connect to a monitor or screen and quickly got the fear. Consequently, the device laid under the bed for a couple of months before I read this book and now our Raspberry Pi is connected and being understood.

Raspberry Pi For Dummies is perfect for people like me, and probably useful for DIY nerds who know a lot more than me. It’s easy to read and if instructions are followed to the letter, then it’s a great investment to go along with the Raspberry Pi itself.

If you can do LEGO in five minutes, then this book isn’t vital. But if it takes you two hours, then this is the book for you.
