GoKart retail app disrupts and improves stock ordering

GoKartLaunched last month and described by ‘an influential’ in the grocery trade as ‘a Just Eat for B2B’, GoKart is a multi-vendor B2B ordering app that is available on Android and iOS platforms.

GoKart allows food and grocery businesses such as retailers, caterers, delis, pubs and restaurants to order from all their suppliers from one app. They can replenish low stock by scanning in existing barcodes, which add items for future and instant ordering.

This disrupts the laboured and traditional model of a web form process, and allows customers to scan and order via the shop floor or a catalogue… somewhat belatedly bringing retail into the digital, always-on world.

“We are passionate about independent businesses. We want to see vibrant High Streets, full of choice and community-based retailers, but being a retailer nowadays is tough because managing something like 8,000 products from 80 different suppliers is unspeakably painful.

“The UK’s 14,000 wholesalers are mostly independent, often family-owned and yet to go online. GoKart catapults wholesalers to 2014 with their branded ordering app and a digital marketplace full of our loved suppliers, ready to take orders”, said Anx Patel, Founder of GoKart.
