Royal Ascot and the iPad – is there no end to the madness?

Now that’s what I call a fascinator.

Spotted at Royal Ascot yesterday, this young filly (sorry) donning the omnipresent iPad. But is it an iPad 2 or an impostor?

According to witnesses, this barbarous act of millinery had problems all day. The hat had to be charged up continually, it kept slipping from landscape to portrait mode and every time it moved, it froze.

What’s more, she didn’t have a winner all day. Maybe go for Android next year…
